Election Project 2012 Calendar
Rationale
With The Election Project 2010, John
Hersey High School will endeavor to link its curriculum to issues in
this fall's election. To this end, candidates for local and national
office have been invited to speak to students, the faculty will
conduct forums on special topics relevant to the campaign, and
classes throughout the building will consider class content in the
context of current events. The project will culminate in a mock
election and voter registration drive. This project is consistent
with John Hersey's goal to graduate informed and involved citizens.

changes and additions are marked in
RED.
